Embroidery is a process in which a design is stitched directly onto a garment using a computerized embroidery machine. Embroidery gives a high quality, professional and long-lasting finish and is suitable for both text and logos.
The first step with embroidery is to ‘digitize’ the design. This is the conversion of your artwork be it a picture or a computer generated image into an embroidery format using specialist software.
Vinyl printing is a process where a design is cut from a roll of coloured vinyl using a CAD plotter. The design is then positioned onto the garment and applied using a heat press. The vinyl we use is very durable and is designed to withstand regular washing.
FULL COLOUR TRANSFER PRINTING
Full colour transfer printing is essentially the same process as vinyl transfer printing, however, instead of cutting your design in vinyl, it is printed onto specialist transfer paper. This is then applied to the garment using a heat press. This method of printing is best suited for designs with lots of colours or gradients (e.g. photographs) where the final print needs to be exactly as per your original artwork. The transfer paper we use is very durable and is designed to withstand regular washing.
A competitive one-off origination charge will apply for the digitizing of your logo for all businesses, clubs and organizations. For all new schools, origination of your logo is free of charge.
